Special Issue Information

The divergence from synthetic compounds towards more natural bioactives has been an emerging trend for the last two decades. The formulation of natural supplements with food ingredients is a hot topic of discussion for formulators, processors, and legislators. This Special Issue will include recent research and review articles covering board areas of food bioactive compounds and their profiling in terms of antioxidants and phenolic composition. This issue will also cover articles in the areas of nanoencapsulation and emulsification regarding the delivery of food bioactives, as well as topics regarding the legal perspectives of food antioxidants.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Foods is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
