New EMBO Members Elected in 2023 Include 20 Authors in IJMS, Other MDPI Titles

The European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) captures and promotes excellence in the life sciences. At its core, a community of more than 2000 Members are elected life-long members of the organization who contribute significantly to the advancement of molecular life sciences in Europe and globally, promoting collaboration and innovation within life science communities.

Being an EMBO Member is a prestigious recognition reserved for scientists who have greatly influenced the direction of research. EMBO maintains a fairly limited number of Members to ensure the community remains focused on the highest level of scientific excellence.

Among the new Members elected in 2023 are 20 scholars who have (co-)authored at least one paper in an MDPI journal, including the International Journal of Molecular Sciences, Biomolecules, Cells, Genes, and Pathogens.
