Crop Production

A section of Agriculture (ISSN 2077-0472).

Section Information

The Section “Crop Production” aims to publish high-quality scientific papers describing the impact of agricultural practices on crop productivity, profitability, and sustainability of cropping systems by identifying the best farming practices for local and international growers. Target crops include field crops, fruits and vegetables, forage crops, medicinal herbs, and ornamental plant species. We welcome article submissions on crop growth and yield as affected by crop management techniques, such as cultivar choice, seed priming methods, tillage practices, soil amendments, plant nutrition, irrigation methods, biofertilizers, plant growth regulators, crop rotations, intercropping, weed–crop competition, and novel weed control methods. We encourage innovative contributions that enhance our understanding of agricultural practices for maximizing crop growth and yield. Studies relating to agronomy and/or crop yields in an open field environment must include data from at least two growing seasons or two different locations to be suitable for publication in this section.
