Dear participants of the 2018 Travel Award competition organized by the IJFS:
I take the opportunity through this Editorial Letter to congratulate all the candidates of the 2018 Travel Award competition organized by the IJFS. I would also like to take this opportunity to explain that, for the Committee that reached the final decision, all participants were characterized by high qualifications, and the merit of their work, and that of the scientific conference in which they were planning to participate, was beyond any doubt.
I extend my congratulations to the successful candidate, but thanks must also go to everyone who stood. It takes courage and commitment to put oneself forward for evaluation and the possibility of not winning. The reward of your hard work will be a career full of opportunities.
