Introduction to a New Open Access Journal by MDPI: Clean Technologies

Nowadays, we are experiencing rapid economic and technological development all over the world. Meanwhile, we are also facing an increasing number of challenges to maintain sustainable development for industrial production and a better living environment. Advanced technology and fundamental research would provide such support to achieve clean products and a clean environment.

Herein, I would like to introduce a new online, open access journal, Clean Technologies, to all the readers. Through this new journal, we are beginning a new journey toward the scientific fields of engineering and technology to reach a better living environment. For this journal, we welcome contributions in the form of original research papers, review articles, communications and short notes covering a broad range of research areas and topics including, but not limited to, the following:

• cleaner production and technical processes
• industrial chemistry and chemical engineering
• production and process engineering
• clean energies
• green chemistry
• sustainable development
• environmentally friendly technology
• analysis and improvement of traditional technology and sources of pollution
• recycling economy (acid-base circulation)
• energy-saving technology
• food technology and engineering
• food safety
• governance, legislation, and policy for sustainability

Clean Technologies also welcomes Special Issue proposals from academics and industrial researchers. Our journal aims to provide a forum to disclose in-depth findings and to facilitate more collaboration between scientists and engineers around the world to produce their innovative studies and cutting-edge technologies that will be published in Clean Technologies.
