Molecules` impact factor increases to 2.386

Thomson Reuters has released the 2011 Journal Citation Reports showing an increase to the impact factor for Molecules.

The 2011 impact factor for Molecules is 2.386 (up from 1.988).

Dr. Derek McPhee, the Editor-in-Chief, proudly says "Once more we have witnessed a significant improvment of the journal's impact factor, a reflection of the high quality of the published papers".

To date, Molecules has published over 4200 articles with more than 5100 citations in 2011 and 4.2 million views since 2009 making Molecules one of the highest ranking peer-reviewed Open Access journals in any field of science.
