Antibody Repertoire

A special issue of Antibodies (ISSN 2073-4468).

Deadline for manuscript submissions: closed (1 November 2018)

Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Although at first glance, the processes of VDJ rearrangement, N addition, and somatic mutation would appear to create repertoires of random diversity, detailed analyses of antibodies obtained from different stages of ontogeny, development, and immunologic diseases have demonstrated that repertoires can be constrained by natural selection, by passage through quality control checkpoints, and by antigen, and auto antigen, selection.  Comparisons between individuals have demonstrated the existence of public and private repertoires.  The mechanisms that constrain these repertoires and the consequences of these constraints to the humoral immune response are the subject of active investigation.

This Special Issue of Antibodies focuses on recent advances in in the study of antibody repertoires, including, new high throughput and single cell technologies, evolutionary and developmental studies, and correlations with immune responses to vaccines, pathogens, and autoantigens.

We look forward to receiving your submission to this Special Issue of Antibodies.

Manuscript Submission Information

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed.
