Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The future of today’s vertical industries (e-Health, intelligent transportation, industrial automation etc.) has diverse and stringent requirements in terms of latency, reliability, data rates and ubiquity. The technical challenges to empower vertical industries require agile, flexible, and smart approaches, which put the onus on researchers to come up with intelligent answers. 5G and beyond are expected to serve this wide range of industries with their advanced wireless communication capabilities. The Special Issue addresses recent developments in theory and practice related to 5G and beyond, to support vertical industries by solving the problems faced by current industrial sectors. Prospective authors are invited to submit papers related to (but not limited to) a diverse range of topics covering the applications, issues, challenges and solutions regarding 5G and beyond to enable vertical industries.
