30 September–2 October 2010, University of Lübeck, Germany
5th Annual Meeting - German Society for Stem Cell Research

The conference will take place at the Campus of the University of Lübeck from 30 September – 2 October, 2010, and will bring together scientists from academia, industry and clinical research to stimulate and promote the exchange of ideas and information about stem cell biology. The meeting will cover a range of current topics of stem cell research including somatic and embryonic stem cells as well as induced pluripotent cells, tissue regeneration, ethical aspects and the biology of tumor stem cells.

In particular, we encourage young scientists and students to take part in this meeting since we have arranged large space for poster presentations and short talks. There will be ample opportunities to discuss state of the art approaches and consult with the experts in both, informal discussions and formal panel sessions. Students will pay a very much reduced registration fee, and a discount will also be available to GSZ members.

The Conference will take place in the Auditorium Maximum on the University
Campus. There will be many opportunities for the participants to join discussion
groups and to share interesting findings in stem cell biology studies. To stress the importance of the attendance of young investigators Poster Prices will be awarded.
