BIT Life Sciences' 2nd World DNA and Genome Day
For the celebration of 50th anniversary of James Watson and Francis Crick’s publication of DNA Double Helix Structure on Nature, US Congress designated April 25 as National DNA Day, and the month April as Genome Month. It is a historic event, a multi lateral celebrations were held in April, 2003. To support the future celebration and provide services and supplies for the holiday, we have held the 1st World DNA and Genome Day in 2005 corporate with the Dalian Municipal Government. To continue the grand event, we will plan the 2nd World DNA and Genome Day which includes six cluster world-class conferences and Nobel Prize Laureates Forum in one week. Through the series of activities of WDD, and its’ celebrations to provide excellent networking and collaboration opportunities for whole life science industries, furthermore, WDD will provide top-level seminars, forums and classes, workshop for all level professionals to update their knowledge and skills.
WDD-2011 is expected to bring together bioscientists, industrial leaders and decision makers from all over the world in a great range of fields to celebrate the recent breaking researches through cluster conferences, expositions, excellent lectures, tech tours and training programs. WDD-2011 consists of six cluster conferences:

-4th Annual World Congress of Industrial Biotechnology
-2nd Annual International Symposium of Enzymes and Biocatalysis
-2nd Annual World Congress of Petroleum Biotechnology
-1st Annual World Congress of Bioenergy
-1st Annual World Congress of Marine Biotechnology
These conferences will bring again the grand celebration of the discovery of the structure of DNA and new wave of biotechnology in various of industrial areas, particularly in the condition of life sciences and stage of 'white wave'. As we all know, today's advancement in the field of science may not have been possible without the great discovery and its developed breakthroughs. Based upon the mission of World DNA and Genome Day, we not only to provide a worldwide platform across cultural information exchanges and education/training program in life Sciences for next generation, but also hope to bring together representatives of the scientific community, economic life and general public as well as high-level decision makers to examine biotechnological opportunities and challenges both in the developing and developed world.
Dalian, as one of the most beautiful coastal cities in China, has successfully hosted annual Summer World Economy Forum- Davos twice in 2007 and 2009 correspondingly, which have generated great impact on the development of New Chinese economy model and beyond. With the increasingly demand on knowledge-based economy for designing and building “the Great Dalian”, it is also expected to be one of largest ideal conference centers in China with its nice natural environment, facilities and professional services.
