9–12 September 2018, Graz, Austria
Welcome to the EUROSENSORS 2018 Conference scheduled for 9 – 12 September 2018!

We are proud to organize the 32nd Edition of this Conference in Graz, Austria´s second largest city with the beautiful historic old town being a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage!

The EUROSENSORS conference was held for the very first time 1987 in Cambridge, UK, and is Europe’s largest Conference in the field of Sensors, Actuators, Micro- & Nanosystems, as well as related materials and fabrication technologies. EUROSENSORS is a most important forum for experienced scientists, engineers and students from academia, research institutes and companies. We are expecting 500 – 600 participants from all over the world to present and discuss their latest R&D results.

The conference venue will be the University of Graz (founded in 1585), which is one of the largest universities in Austria with about 32,500 students. Many excellent scientists, amongst them six Nobel laureates including Erwin Schroedinger, Otto Loewi and Viktor Hess have taught and researched here.

The EUROSENSORS 2018 Conference features two special topics “Photonic & Quantum Sensors” and “Automotive Sensors”, which are of high relevance for academia as well as for research institutes and industry. These special topics are motivated by strong Austrian R&D activities in photonic and quantum technologies as well as the location, since Graz is the centre of Austrian’s automobile industry, producing cars for the major European brands. The EUROSENSORS 2018 School is focused on “Sensors for Autonomous Driving” being the next big thing in automotive applications.

We trust that you will enjoy the EUROSENSORS 2018 Conference in Graz, which is offering a perfect blend of science, technology, art, culture and sightseeing.

We are looking forward to meeting you at the EUROSENSORS 2018 Conference in Graz, Austria!

Yours sincerely,
Your EUROSENSORS 2018 Organisation Team
