Econometrics (ISSN 2225-1146) and Risks (ISSN 2227-9091) Accepted for Inclusion in Scopus

We are pleased to inform that the open access journals Econometrics (ISSN 2225-1146) and Risks (ISSN 2227-9091) have been found suitable for inclusion in Scopus. Both journals combined have published more than 400 research articles on all aspects of theoretical and applied econometrics, insurance mathematics and related areas, with articles in both journals having been cited 650 times to date, according to Crossref data.

Coverage in Scopus is going to start from 2018 volumes, initially, for both journals. The articles are expected to become available in Scopus later this year. We would like to use the opportunity to express our gratitude to the Editors-in-Chief, Prof. Marc S. Paolella (University of Zurich, Switzerland) and Prof. Mogens Steffensen (University of Copenhagen, Denmark) for their tireless ambition to develop their journals into hotspots for research in econometrics and actuarial science.

Econometrics has published several Special Issues recently dedicated to celebrating (and discussing) the work of highly regarded econometricians, among them Katarina Juselius and Søren Johansen, Peter Phillips and David Hendry. Risks is covering a number of current topics in open special issues as well, such as "Computational Methods for Risk Management in Economics and Finance" (guest editor: Dr. Marina Resta) and "Model Risk in Finance" (guest editor: Prof. Rolf Poulsen).

If you're interested in "the ties that bind" the fields of actuarial science and mathematical finance, we recommend to check out this recent Special Issue published in Risks. The complete edited volume can be downloaded or ordered here.
