Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The work concerns a very interesting issue, which is “Application of mixed methods in transdisciplinary research projects on sustainable mobility”. As a result, the article is very timely and valuable in terms of the discipline of civil engineering and transport.

The article presents an interesting research method evolving the effects of sustainable projects.  In my opinion, it is valuable and fills the research gap in the search for modern methodologies.

Overall, I find the article good. I only have a few remarks that would help enrich the work.

From the editorial point of view, the article is written legibly and correctly.

From the substantive point of view, In the discussion and measurement section of the article, please add a paragraph that has developed more comprehensive evaluation recommendations for scientists and then list them.  As it stands, they are bulleted without introduction.

Please refer to other research conducted in the field of new mobility where mixed research methods were also used, e.g. secondary study and expert research, or secondary study and business model analysis.  You can find them for example here: https://doi.org/10.3390/joitmc7040212, https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Charalampos-Kyriakidis/publication/289130335_Case_Studies_and_Sustainable_Urban_Mobility_research_schemes_A_communication_channel_among_researchers_and_interdisciplinary_community_groups/links/5689ac8408ae1975839ab719/Case-Studies-and-Sustainable-Urban-Mobility-research-schemes-A-communication-channel-among-researchers-and-interdisciplinary-community-groups.pdf,  https://doi.org/10.3390/joitmc8010037

In the part of summary please enrich the article with the information about your future research.

Good luck!

An article entitled "Application of mixed methods in transdisciplinary research projects on sustainable mobility" offers present the  evaluation of the BaaS-LEV and SciSusMob project to create a guideline for the use of mixed methods in transdisciplinary research.

I consider the topic of the article to be very topical and I welcome the activities described. The article is very descriptive with a sufficient explanation of the processing methodology.

I want to highlight a quality literature search. The introduction provided an excellent overview of the topic.

My recommendation is to supplement a specific example of outputs for a specific city, resp. project. Project description, the results are very general.

Dear authors,

Thank you for making the article corrections. With reference to my previous recommendations, I would like to point out that unfortunately not all comments were taken into account.

Regarding the paragraph added that was meant to be an introduction to the discussion. Please expand it further, there is still not enough information there.

As far as references to other studies are concerned, the studies of other authors that I have indicated, have not been referred to.

With regard to further research, there is no opinion where you will indicate what your further research will be, whether you want to continue or expand it, or whether you want to abandon it.

Please correctly refer to the comments I have indicated.
