This article explores and assesses the options and dilemmas facing the hotel industry in selecting and implementing information systems and digital technologies as part of an evolving IT strategy.

The choice of topics is relevant and the research contributes to the development of the hotel industry.

The presentation of results is clear and understandable. The conclusions and findings are based on the results of the research.

This manuscript has innovative and interesting topic which explores and assesses the options and dilemmas facing the hotel industry in selecting and implementing information systems and digital technologies as part of an evolving IT strategy. Meanwhile it is not congruent with the mission, aims and scope of Sustainbality journal. 

 

In Introduction section I suggest the authors discuss more about the inconsistent findings reported in previous researches and how they will go to fill the gaps found on the past literature.

 Literature review in the paper is very weak and must be improved with a clear focus on theme of the paper.

Methodology needs to be rewritten in a much clearer way – it is not entirely clear how the authors pursue the research aims of the research. Materials and methods used in the paper should be clearly presented in a logical format in order to help a reader to grasp the following Results section. This part needs to be detailed, broadened to clearly show how the research was carried out. 

The main weaknesses of the reviewed paper is in absense of scientific novelty. We learn little that is new or novel here. There is no convincing concluding debate regarding the unique contribution of the reviewed paper.
