The Agronomy Editorial Office retracts the article entitled “Estimating the Crop Acreage of Menthol Mint Crop from Remote Sensing Satellite Imagery Using ANN” [1], cited above.
Following publication, concerns were brought to the attention of the Editorial Office regarding a significant overlap with a PhD thesis [2] and other previously published papers [3,4] from different authorship groups without appropriate acknowledgment or consent.
Adhering to our complaint’s procedure, an investigation was conducted by the Editorial Office and Editorial Board that confirmed a significant overlap of text and figures between this article [1], the PhD thesis [2], and other previously published papers [3,4], without appropriate acknowledgment or citation. As a result, the Editorial Office and Editorial Board have decided to retract this article [1] as per MDPI’s retraction policy (https://www.mdpi.com/ethics#_bookmark30, accessed on 23 September 2024), in line with the Committee on Publication Ethics’ retraction guidelines (https://publicationethics.org/retraction-guidelines, accessed on 23 September 2024).
This retraction was approved by the Editor-in-Chief of Agronomy.
The authors agreed to this retraction.
