When the word “Melatonin” is in the beginning of a sentence we use the whole word, but in all other cases we use the abbreviation (MT).

The MT concentrations that we used in our experiments are based on the preliminary experiments that we conducted and on the literature.

The subject of the study is interesting and has been well conducted. Therefore, in my opinion the manuscript deserves to be published after some corrections (see attached file). In addition,some sentences of the discussion should be modified, as some sentences make very blunt statements. These sentences should be formulated in a more prudent way using words like "could" or "might".

Thank you for your comments that helped us to improve our manuscript. We formulated the sentences of the Discussion and Conclusion in a more prudent way using words like "could" or "might" and we highlighted them in yellow, as all new changes in the whole text.
