Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The manuscript has potential for publication, with minor corrections. The subject is pertinent to the genetic diversity of jackfruit, a fruit tree cultivated in various parts of the world, but with few studies developed, such as characterization of accessions, genetic diversity and genetic resources for future domestication and commercial exploitation. This research presents interesting results. Congratulations.

Line 32: Future research should…………….. Change this concluding remarks to what the current study provide for future work?

Introduction

The introduction is poorly written.

1st paragraph do not provide the detailed introduction about the family of Jack fruit and its significance.

The up to date genomic research on jack fruit and the research gaps are missing.

Add the economic importance of hawthorn to the introduction section.

Authors are directed to improve this part with recent citations.

Materials and Methods

Some section of this section needs proper citations. Authors are directed to provide the most recent citations for the sub-sections and elaborate the methodology so that the reader could understand the protocols followed.

Table 1 legends are not defined well. Update the legends.
