Network—Call for Editorial Board Members


Network
, a new journal published by MDPI, is recruiting Editorial Board (EB) members whose research interests are related, but not limited, to the following aspects:

  • Network protocols and architectures
  • Network and service management
  • Network components and signal processing
  • Network analysis
  • Network security
  • Network control
  • All types of network implementations

Network is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal published by MDPI. Our aim is to provide an advanced forum for scientists to share their research, ideas, or applications in promoting the crucial field of network technology. It covers all topics of interest involving the area of networks, including but not limited to the control and analysis of networks, the design of protocols and architectures of networks, network security and service management, the design of network components, and practical applications. This opportunity will allow you to keep up with the latest research in this field and position yourself as one of the leaders in the evolving and exciting field of networks. Appointments to the Editorial Board are for a term of two years and may then be renewed. As an EB member, you can publish one paper per year free of charge. Your name and affiliation will be displayed on the journal website.

The main responsibilities of EB members are as follows:

  • Working closely with Editors to develop the journal’s vision, policy, and practices;
  • Pre-screening submissions and making decisions on whether a manuscript can be accepted or rejected for processing, and suggesting reviewers if necessary;
  • Serving as Guest Editor of a Special Issue in your particular field of expertise, or recommending potential topics and Guest Editors;
  • Promoting Network and increasing its visibility at related academic conferences;
  • Helping to solicit high quality papers for Network;
  • Advising on the journal’s development.

The following are the criteria for the selection of EB members:

  • A PhD degree and relevant expertise;
  • Having a strong interest in the scholarly journal;
  • Holding an appointment at a university, or an academic or research institution;
  • Prior experience in publishing and reviewing for peer-reviewed publications.
