Recruiting Section Editors-in-Chief for Children


To develop different research areas and continue to attract high-quality papers, Children (ISSN 2227-9067) is recruiting Section Editors-in-Chief (more details can be found at https://www.mdpi.com/journal/children/sections). At present, the following Sections have not yet found suitable scholars to lead them:

“Child and Adolescent Psychiatry”

“Pediatric Allergy and Immunology”
(https://www.mdpi.com/journal/children/sections/Pediatric_Allergy_Immunology)

“Pediatric Infectious Diseases”

We are now recruiting Section Editors-in-Chief (SEiC) for these Sections. The Section Editor-in-Chief has the following responsibilities:

  • Making decisions on whether a manuscript can be accepted based on the reports we collect;
  • Reviewing a small number of papers per year and managing the Section together with other journal editors;
  • Promoting Children and increasing its visibility at related academic conferences.

Children is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal of pediatrics, focusing on the dissemination of clinical, epidemiological, and translational science relevant to children’s health, published monthly online by MDPI.
