Author Biographies

Dr Christian A Linares is a US-born and -educated, London-based resident physician with interests in neuro-oncology, stereotactic radiosurgery and cancer health economics. He holds degrees in cellular biology, healthcare management, biophysics and clinical medicine, and he is currently a hospitalist fellow at Guy's & St Thomas', where he also serves on the trust's Clinical Guidelines Committee. Between his first two years of medical school, he completed a research fellowship in Gamma Knife neuro-radiomics at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, and he completed his MD Distinction Research in CyberKnife health economics. As a medical intern, he worked with the RECOVERY Collaborative Group as a Co-Principal Investigator for the RECOVERY Trial at East Kent Hospitals, for which he earned a Health Education England Merit Award for Outstanding Contribution.
