Amin Malekmohammadi is a fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy (FHEA), a senior member of IEEE, and a member of the Engineering Council (CEng), IET. He is an experienced researcher with a specific discipline in cloud computing, AWS, Linux, networking and silicon photonics, design, fabrication, and data analysis. He has been awarded over $ 1.5 Million in grant monies and endowments. He has published over 100 scientific research papers and a postgraduate textbook and delivered keynote speeches at international scientific conferences around the globe. Up to now, he has held four patents on optical fiber communication systems.

Amir Hajrasouliha is an architect,urban designer, and city planner with years of professional and academic experience. He is an assistant professor at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where he teaches courses in urban design, smart cities, and housing. He is also an adjunct faculty at UC San Diego where he teaches courses in land use planning and GIS. He has been the recipient of national awards including the Perry Chapman Prize from the Society of College and University Planning (SCUP) and the winner of the ULI/Hines urban design competition. He has a Ph.D. in metropolitan planning, policy, and design from the University of Utah, and a Master’s in urban design from the University of Michigan. He is the author of peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. His research projects focus on quantifying urban form qualities and assessing their relationship with a wide range of issues in higher education, public health, and digital technologies.
