Barbara Miziak is a professor in the Department of Pathophysiology, Faculty of Medical
Sciences at the Medical University of Lublin, Lublin, Poland. She graduated
from the Faculty of Biotechnology of Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in
Lublin, Poland in 2010. She has been an academic teacher in the Department of
Pathophysiology of Lublin Medical University since 2011. She is involved in
research devoted to the pathophysiology of epilepsy and the mechanisms of
action of antiepileptic drugs. She has 27 publications with 335 citations and
an h-index of 11 (Scopus, 31 October 2023).
