Mario Morales-Martinez is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the School of Medicine, University of California, Los Angeles. He completed his Ph.D. studies at the School of Medicine of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (Mexico City, Mexico) in 2021, in which he worked on miRNAs and cancer. He is interested in immunology, cancer cell biology, molecular signaling, bioinformatics, and epigenetics. Currently, he is working in the fields of cancer, immunology, molecular signaling, and new therapies for cancer treatment.
Dr. Mario I Vega is a Associate Professor at Department of Medicine at UCLA. Currently, he is a full member of the National System of Researchers of CONACyT with an SNI-III CONACyT qualification, a member of the UNAM Graduate Program Faculty, and a member of the Mexican Academy of Sciences. Dr. Vega graduated from the Autonomous Metropolitan University (UAM) in 1992 (Chemical Sciences), and he received a Master's degree in 1997 and a Ph.D. degree from the School of Medicine at the National Autonomous University of Mexico in 2001 (Immunology). He has published 58 international scientific papers, and has an h index of 25 and more than 2000 citations of his work (Scopus, 01/01/2024).
