Bin Yang is a professor and dean of the School of Energy and Safety Engineering at Tianjin Chengjian University in China. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Tianjin University in 2000 and 2003, respectively. In 2009, he received a doctorate jointly awarded by the Technical University of Denmark and the National University of Singapore. His postdoctoral studies were with Professor William Nazaroff, a distinguished professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, and an editor-in-chief of the well-known international journal Indoor Air. Later, he served as an associate professor and doctoral supervisor at Umea University in Sweden and then as a tenured associate professor and doctoral supervisor. His research mainly focuses on building indoor environments and energy saving, new HVAC technologies, building intelligence, etc.
Hanliang Fu
Hanliang Fu is the chief of the Laboratory of Neuromanagement in Engineering and an associate professor of the School of Management at the Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology. He holds a Ph.D. in Management. He is an editorial board member of the Journal of Green Building and an associate
editor for Decision Neuroscience (specialty section of FrontiersIn Neuroscience and FrontiersIn Psychology). He was a visiting scholar at Illinois State University for about three months. His main research interests are neuromanagement in engineering, neuromechanism of risk behaviors, and
cognitive process of decision-making. He also serves as a reviewer for more than 50 peer-reviewed journals, including Renewable & Sustainable Energy Reviews, Journal of Cleaner Production, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, etc., and has reviewed over 250 articles.
Zhihan Lv is an associate professor and senior lecturer at the Department of Game Design at Uppsala University. He is a senior member of IEEE, a BCS fellow, and an ACM distinguished speaker. He has received more than 20 awards from China, Europe, and IEEE, and has won eight Best Paper awards. In recent years, he has worked on the combination of VR, IoT, and AI.
Faming Wang is an associate professor at the Department of Biosystems, KU Leuven, Belgium. He earned his Licentiate of Philosophy and Ph.D. from Lund University (Sweden). After attaining his Ph.D., he worked as a Marie Curie Fellow (EMPA/ETH, Switzerland) and a Killam Fellow (postdoc, University of Alberta, Canada). He serves as an associate editor for the Journal of Thermal Biology, FrontiersIn Built Environment and Indoor Air, and an editorial board member for several journals, such as Ergonomics, FrontiersIn Physiology, International Journal of Occupational Safety and Ergonomics, Energies, and FrontiersIn Energy Research. He has been ranked among the top 2% of world scientists (published by Stanford University) since 2020. To date, he has published extensively with over 280 publications.
