Teodoro del Del Ser Quijano was graduated in Psychology (1973), Political Sociology (1974), and Medicine (1976), did a Doctorate in Medicine (1987) and worked as an Associate Lecturer in Neuropsychology (1986–1989) at Complutense University, Madrid. He worked as a Clinical Neurologist and Head of the Neurology Section in the Hospital Severo Ochoa in Leganes (Madrid) for 17 years (1987–2004). He has undertaken clinicopathological studies into vascular dementia and dementia with Lewy bodies, epidemiological studies into dementia and mild cognitive impairment, clinical and neuropsychological studies into Alzheimer’s Disease, post-stroke dementia, and other dementias. He has taken part in the design and performance of clinical trials on Alzheimer’s disease, vascular dementia and dementia with Lewy bodies. He joined Noscira in 2004 as the Director of Clinical Development and has planned and organized the company's phase I and phase II clinical trials on Alzheimer’s disease and Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, as well as the associated imaging, biomarker and bioanalytical studies. He is currently the coordinator of the Clinical Platform of the Alzheimer's Centre Reina Sofía - CIEN Foundation in Madrid, dedicated to the research on cognitive impairment, neurodegenerative diseases and biomarkers.
