Dr. Rudy Sangaletti is a physician specializing in orthopedics and traumatology. During his professional training, he studied in-depth prosthetic surgery of the lower limbs and gained experience in robotic and sports surgery at the highly specialized Fondazione Poliambulance Center in Brescia and at the ultra-specialized Helios Endo-Klinik Center in Hamburg. He then specialized in minimally invasive and prosthetic surgery of the foot and ankle. He currently works at the Poliaccademia Foundation and the Brescia Multispecialty Hospital Research Institute.
Dr. Loris Perticarini graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, after obtaining a degree in Orthopedic Techniques. He then specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the University of Pavia. He obtained a two-level Master's degree in Pathology and Biomechanics of the upper limb at the University of Bologna. He was a social doctor for the youth sector of F.C. Internazionale of Milan, and subsequently orthopedic consultant for the U.C. Cremonese and Pavia Calcio. He attended a fellowship in hip conservative and prosthetic surgery at the Unidad de Cadera, ICATME, Hospital Universitario Quirón Dexeus in Barcelona. Subsequently, he attended the AAHKS (American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons) Fellowship in the United States for hip and knee surgery. He has participated as a Speaker at numerous national and international conferences and participated in indexed scientific publications and book chapters on hip, knee, and sports traumatology surgery. He deals with hip and knee prosthetic surgery, and other body areas regarding sports traumatology (ankle, Achilles tendon), especially with athletes in football, athletics, and triathlon. He carries out clinical checks and ultrasound-guided infiltrations.
Dr. Stefano Marco Paolo Rossi graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 2005 from the University of Pavia, continued his training, and in 2010 specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the same university. From 2010 to February 2020, he worked at the Orthopedic and Traumatology Clinic of the University of Pavia, Fondazione IRCCS Policlinico San Matteo. Since March 2020, he has been working at the Robotic Prosthetic Surgery Unit, Sports Traumatology section, of the Orthopedics and Traumatology Unit of the Poliambulance Foundation of Brescia.
Prof. Dr. Giandomenico Logroscino has been an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery at the School of Medicine, University of ‘Aquila, and an Orthopaedic Surgeon at Mininvasive Orthopaedic Surgery, University of L’Aquila, L’Aquila, Italy. He graduated from the School of Medicine, Catholic University of Rome, Italy, with a Medical Degree in 1993 and obtained his Residency and Postgraduate Degree in Orthopaedics and Traumatology in 1998. From 2004 to 2018, he worked as an Adjunct Professor and Assistant Professor at the School of Medicine and as an Orthopedic Surgeon at the Hip and Shoulder Division, Catholic University of Rome-Policlinico Gemelli. Before that, he was an Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Trauma, Hip, and Sports Medicine Division of the Catholic University of Rome-Policlinico Gemelli (2000–2004), an Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Association Columbus, Rome (1999), and the Chief of Medical Service, Caserma A. Paolucci, Rome, Italian Navy Army (1996–1997).
Prof. Dr. Francesco Benazzo is the Head of Robotic Prosthetic Surgery Unit—Sports Traumatology Unit, Fondazione Poliambulanza Istituto Ospedaliero, Brescia, Italy. He enrolled in the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of Pavia in 1974. He graduated in 1980 and immediately joined the team of Orthopedics and Traumatology specialists at the Orthopedic and Traumatology Clinic of the University of Pavia. In 1985, he specialized in the discipline and won the traveling fellowship of COCOMAC (the European organization that preceded EFORT) as the best Italian specialist together with two other newly specialized Italian colleagues, in Portugal. From 2002 until 2020, he directed the Orthopedic and Traumatology Clinic of the University of Pavia, Fondazione IRCCS Policlinico San Matteo, and the School of Specialization in the discipline. Since 1 March 2020, he has been Director of the Robotic Prosthetic Surgery Section and Sports Traumatology Unit at the Poliaccademia Foundation of Brescia, simultaneously maintaining the chair of Orthopedics and Traumatology at the University of Pavia and the Directorate of the School of Specialization in this discipline.
