Tihomir Orehovački is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Informatics, Juraj Dobrila University of Pula, Croatia. His research primarily focuses on the interplay between human-computer interaction and empirical software engineering, including the design of tools for acquiring programming skills, development of metrics and measuring instruments, and evaluation of various aspects of software product quality, usability, user experience, acceptance, and success. He has authored over 130 scientific and professional papers published in respected journals and conference proceedings. In addition, he actively contributes to the academic community as a reviewer for numerous journals and conferences within his research field. He has also taken a lead role or participated in research projects funded by national and EU sources. In recognition of his contributions, he has received international, national, and university awards and honors. He currently serves on program committees for various international scientific conferences and is a member of professional associations, including ACM, IEEE, ICWE, and EUNIS.
