Stefano Salciccia is a Professor of Urology at the Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. He is a member of the Italian and European Urological Associations. He graduated from the Sapienza University of Rome in 2003. In 2012, he obtained a research doctorate (Ph.D.) in “new technologies in surgery” at the University “Politecnica delle Marche”. His main clinical and research interests are prostate cancer, in particular surgical treatment and new medical therapies for metastatic disease.
Alessandro Sciarra is a Full Professor of Urology at Sapienza University in Rome and the coordinator of a multidisciplinary team studying prostate cancer. He is the Director of the Residency School of Urology. He obtained his degree in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Rome La Sapienza in 1990. His research is mainly on prostate cancer and urologic oncology. He develops research studies on biomarkers in prostate cancer, including those on exosomes. His studies on magnetic multiparametric resonance and new hormone therapy strategies for metastatic prostate cancer informed changes in the European guidelines.
Prof. Giorgio Franco graduated from the Sapienza University of Rome in 1980. He is a specialist in urology and general surgery and a Fellow of the European Board of Urology. He completed his professional and academic training in 1987-88 at the University of Natal (South Africa) as Senior Registrar/Lecturer. He is an Associate Professor in Urology and Medical Director at the Department of Gynecological-Ostetrical Sciences and Urological Sciences of the Policlinico Umberto I, Sapienza University of Rome. He is currently President of the Italian Society of Andrology. He is a member of the Italian Society of Urology, the European Association of Urology, the American Urological Association, and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology.
Vito Cantisani is an Associate Professor at the Department of Radiological, Oncological, and Pathobiological Sciences, Sapienza University of Rome, Rome, Italy. He also serves as Vice-Dean of Medicine and Dentistry and Chairman of the Diagnostic Ultrasound Unit. He received a Medical Degree, a Ph.D. in Thoracic and Cardiovascular Pathophysiology and Imaging, and a Master in Health Management at Sapienza University of Rome, in 1999, 2010, and 2014, respectively. His research topics/experiences include Ultrasound, CEUS and Elastography, MPUS, CT, Conventional Radiography, MRI of the chest and abdomen, Artificial Intelligence, and Radiomics.
