Alberto Olivero received his degree in medicine and surgery from the University of Turin on 03/25/2019 with the score 110/110 cum laude, with the right to publish. He currently works as a resident doctor in psychiatry at the clinical psychology unit in the "Rita Levi Montalcini" Department of Neuroscience at the University of Turin. His research focuses mainly on clinical psychology and psychiatry, with particular reference to the fields of psychosomatics, psycho-oncology and transplantation psychology. An additional area of interest is medical education.
Paolo Leombruni is an M.D., specializing in psychiatry and psychotherapist, and is a full professor of clinical psychology at the University of Turin, Italy. He works in the unit of clinical psychology and psycho-oncology in the "Molinette Hospital", the largest hospital in Turin. His field of interest, in clinical research, was previously the area of eating disorders, with a special focus on binge eating disorder psychopathology and treatment. Later, he worked on the psychological comorbidity, adherence and quality of life of patients with HIV. Recently, he shifted his research interests to psycho-oncology and medical education. In September 2009, he was the scientific secretary of the 20th World Conference of the International College of Psychosomatic Medicine, held in Turin, titled “Psychosomatic Innovations for a New Quality of Health Care”. He is a member of several national scientific societies and a regular member of the European Association for Cancer Education (EACE) and the International College of Psychosomatic Medicine (ICPM).
