Dr. Xiaoying Li is an Associate Professor at the Northwest Institute of Eco-Environment and Resources, CAS, Lanzhou, China. She graduated from Inner Mongolia Normal University with a B.S. in Geographic Science in 2012 and obtained her M.S. and Ph.D. in Physical Geography, both from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2015 and 2020, respectively. She mainly engages in the research of permafrost environment and forest fire ecology. She has published more than 30 papers, including more than 10 SCI papers. She serves as a reviewer for several journals such as Catena. She is a member of the China Cryosphere Science Society and the Young Scholars Society of Permafrost
