Author Biographies

Xiaoming Jiang is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the Institute of Linguistics, Shanghai International Studies University. He is mainly engaged in scientific research and talent training in psychology and neurolinguistics. In 2021, he was selected as an Elsevier Highly Cited Scholar in Foreign Languages and Literature, and his research results were selected as the Best Paper Award for Speech Communication (2017–2022) by the International Speech Communication Society (ISCA) and the European Society for Signal Processing (EURASIP). He was selected into the Shanghai Youth Top-notch Program, Shuguang Scholar Program, etc. He hosted the National Natural Science Foundation General Project, Shanghai Natural Science Foundation General Project, Shanghai Philosophy and Social Science Planning Project, etc., and participated in two major National Social Science Fund projects. In 2021, he presided over the “Psycholinguistics” course and was selected for Shanghai’s key undergraduate course construction. He has won the Advanced Individual in Three-Quality Education and the Outstanding Teaching Award from Shanghai International Studies University. He currently serves as deputy editor-in-chief of Bibliography of Pragmatics Online, guest deputy editor-in-chief of Frontiers in Psychology (Language Section), editorial board member of Journal of Psychological Science, and reviewer for more than 40 international SSCI/SCI journals.
