Author Biographies

Rikke Helene Moe is a senior researcher at the Center for treatment of Rheumatic and Musculoskeletal Diseases (REMEDY), Diakonhjemmet Hospital, Norway. She received a Doctoral degree at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Oslo, holds a degree in Physiotherpy from the Netherlands, Master in Physiotherapy Science from the University of Bergen, and an Intermediate degree in Psychology from the University of Tromsø. She has been an honorary member of EULAR since 2021.
Prof. Thea P.M. Vliet Vlieland is a professor of rehabilitation processes and physical therapy. She is works at the Department of Orthopaedics, Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy of the LUMC. She also holds positions as a researcher at Basalt Rehabilitation and the University of Applied Sciences Leiden. Her area of research concerns the development, evaluation, and implementation of rehabilitation interventions for people with rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases and acquired brain injury. Prof. Thea P.M. Vliet Vlieland is an honorary member of the European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR). She has received various awards for her research work, including a medal from the Dutch Society for Rheumatology (2018) and the Distinguished Scholar Award from the Association of Rheumatology Health Professionals, American College of Rheumatology (2008).
