Prof. Hongwei Yao is a Deputy Director of the Gastrointestinal Surgery Branch Center of General Surgery, Beijing Friendship Hospital, which is affiliated with Capital Medical University. He is also a member of the Oncology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, the Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, etc. He specializes in laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery for gastric cancer, colon cancer, and rectal cancer.
Prof. Zhongtao Zhang is currently the Vice President of Beijing Friendship Hospital, which is affiliated with Capital Medical University; Director of the Department of General Surgery of Capital Medical University; Deputy Director of the National Clinical Research Center for Digestive System Diseases; and Deputy Director of the Beijing Digestive Disease Center. His main research interest is gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary surgery.
