Dr. Yoshihiko Yano is a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine Hospital, Kobe University. In 2006, he worked as an academic promotion researcher in Kobe University. His research interests mainly include steatohepatitis, nonalcoholic steatohepatitis, intestinal bacteria, fatty liver disease, high-fat diet, bacteroides, short-chain fatty acids, fatty liver, hepatitis virus, mass spectrometry, metabolome analysis, diagnostic systems, and testing.
Takanori Matsuura has been with the Department of Gastroenterology at Kobe University Graduate School of Medicine since April 2020. Dr. Matsuura is going to become a specially appointed assistant professor from April 2024. He was a visiting researcher at the Research Institute for Microbial Diseases (RIMD) of Osaka University from November 2021 to October 2023. His research interests mainly include polyploidy and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
Yoshihide Ueda is a professor at the Graduate School of Medicine, Faculty of Medical Sciences, Kobe University. In 2015, he was assistant professor at the Graduate School of Medicine (Research Faculty). From 2016 to 2017, he worked as a special lecturer at the Graduate School of Medicine, Kobe University. His research interests mainly include medical sociology, gastroenterology and gastroenterology-related subjects, and general surgery.
Yuzo Kodama is a professor at the Graduate School of Medicine, Faculty of Medical Sciences, Kobe University Hospital. He undertook his PhD at Kyoto University Graduate School of Medicine from 1999 to 2003. His research interests mainly include endoscopic mucosal resection, stomach neoplasms, and home dental care devices.
