She graduated from Pontificia Universidade Católica do Paraná in Curitiba, Brazil, and obtained her doctorate in Physiotherapy from the University of Alcalá. She is the coordinator of the research group Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy in stages of life at University of Alcala. Her current research focuses on Physical Therapy interventions and Assistive Technology for improving functional activities and participation in babies, children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders.
