Yinghui Han is an associate professor at the College of Resources and Environment at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. She does research in the multidisciplinary field of energy and environmental science, including air pollution control and resource recovery, clean combustion and near-zero emission, etc. She has led and co-worked on many projects in the areas of environmental pollution control and energy storage, including the National Key R&D Program, and National Natural Science Foundation of China, etc. She participated in making China's national 13th five-year plan in the energy storage industry and was responsible for electrochemical technical proposal and development indicator. During the 14th Five-Year Plan of China period, as the chief scientist, she presided over the planning and implementation of the non-carbon dioxide greenhouse gas research strategy of the Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality Plan of the Ministry of Science and Technology. She also helped some companies affiliated with State Grid to overcome their technical challenges. She earned a Ph.D. in thermal engineering from North China Electric Power University, an M. S. in polymer chemistry and physics from Hebei University, a B. S. in physics with honors from Jilin Normal University, and a second B. S. in software engineering from Peking University. Before joining UCAS, she was an associate professor in the Department of Mathematics and Physics at North China Electric Power University.
