Simpi works as a research scholar at the Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology's School of Humanities and Social Sciences in Patiala, India. Her research focuses on entrepreneurship, human resource development, and entrepreneurial education. She is presently pursuing a doctorate in entrepreneurship education. She has one article published in an SSCI listed journal and one in the Prague-organized IMEs International Conference.
