Prof. Dr. Narendra Kumar has obtained his Dr. Tech. (Chemical Engineering) from Åbo Akademi University, Turku/Åbo, Finland in the year 1996. He has been working at Laboratory of Industrial Chemistry and Reaction Engineering, Åbo Akademi University since 1990. His duties are research, education, supervision of PhD, MSc. and B. Sc. students. He has published 498 peer-reviewed research papers in reputed, high impact factor international scientific journals in the field of catalysis, catalytic materials, catalyst synthesis and characterizations, microporous and mesoporous materials, chemical engineering, petro-chemicals, oil refining, biofuels, environmental catalysis, fine chemicals, pharmaceuticals and speciality chemical synthesis. His H-index is 43. He has co-supervised more than 75 Doctoral, Licentiate and M.Sc Thesis.
Dr. Narendra Kumar has been awarded Åbo Akademi University Bronz and Silver medal for continuous services at the university for more than 30 years. He has evaluated doctoral theses and acted as opponent and examiner for universities in Finland, Sweden and Spain. He is a member of scientific committee and acts as a reviewer for Federation of European Zeolite Association, International Zeolite Association, International Conference on Engineering for Waste and Biomass Valorization, International Conference on Catalysis and Nordic Symposium on Catalysis.
Dr. Narendra Kumar is an expert for evaluation of European Union Projects, Horizon Europe (2021-2027).
Prof. Basudeb Saha is the Head of Chemical Engineering and Director of Studies at Lancaster University, as well as an Associate Director of the Centre for Global Eco-Innovation. He is currently an honorary professor at Brunel University, London, and an external examiner for the Chemical Engineering UG and Masters courses at the University of Hull and the University of Bradford. Prof. Saha is a Chartered Engineer (CEng), a Fellow of The Institution of Chemical Engineers (FIChemE), a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC), and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA). He is an editorial board member of the Green Processing and Synthesis, Energies, and Reactions journals; an advisory board member of the Reaction Chemistry and Engineering journal; an editorial board member of the Theoretical Foundations of Chemical Engineering journal; and an associate editor of the Sustainable Chemical Process Design journal (specialty section of Frontiers in Sustainability). He has received many national and international awards (e.g. from The Royal Society, The Royal Academy of Engineering, The British Council, IChemE, the NRI Welfare Society, etc.) in recognition of his research excellence. He received a prestigious "Jewel of India Award" from the NRI Welfare Society of India in recognition of outstanding services and scholarly achievements in chemical engineering.
