Prof. Diana Maria Paola Galassi is a full professor of Zoology at the Department of Life, Health, and Environmental Sciences, University of L’Aquila. She took up service as an Associate Professor in 2015. She received her Degree in Biological Sciences at the MM.FF.NN Faculty of Sciences at the University of L'Aquila in 1984. Her research interests include marine and freshwater biology, environmental sciences and ecology, water resources, zoology, toxicology, freshwater biology, groundwater ecology, groundwater biology, groundwater biodiversity, crustaceans, hyporheic biology, and ecology.
Dr. Tiziana Di Lorenzo has been a permanent researcher at the National Research Council of Italy (CNR) since 2011. She received her Ph.D in Groundwater Ecology in 2007 and her MA in Environmental Sciences in 2001 at the University of L’Aquila, Italy. She is an Associate Editor for Tropical Zoology and a Subject Editor for Subterranean Biology. Her research interests include Environmental Impact Assessment, conservation, water quality, biodiversity, environmental management, groundwater ecology, meiofauna, crustaceans, and ecotoxicology.
