Haseeb Ali Khan received a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from COMSATS University Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2019. He is pursuing a master’s degree and has served as Research Assistant since September 2022 in Software Convergence from Sejong University, Seoul, South Korea. His research interests includes Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Mixed Reality, and Machine Learning.
Sonain Jamil is working as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Image Processing Lab at Sejong University, Republic of Korea. He completed his master's degree in Electronics Engineering with a major in Image Processing. During his master's degree, he had the opportunity to work on diverse topics including JPEG Snack, JPEG AI, Colour Coordinates Conversion, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Unmanned Aerial Systems, Non-Terrestrial Networks, Autonomous Vehicles, and Federated Learning. He has been an active reviewer for well-reputed journals such as Elsevier Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence, Elsevier Biomedical Signal Processing, Elsevier Applied Energy, Elsevier Ad hoc Networks, IEEE Access, MDPI Sensors, MDPI Drones, MDPI Remote Sensing, and many more. Being an Electronics Engineer as well as a Telecommunication Engineer, his research interests lie in image processing, computer vision, machine learning, deep learning, wireless communication, next-generation networks, image compression, nonterrestrial networks, and medical image processing.
Md. Jalil Piran obtained his Ph.D. in electronics and information engineering from Kyung Hee University, South Korea, in 2016. Afterward, he worked at Kyung Hee University's Networking Laboratory as a postdoctoral fellow. He is currently an associate professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Sejong University, Seoul, South Korea. He has published a substantial number of technical papers in well-known international journals and conferences in the field of intelligent information and communication technology (IICT), specifically in the fields of machine learning, data science, wireless communications and networking, 5G/6G, the Internet of Things (IoT), and cybersecurity. He works with several journals as an editor, including "IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, Elsevier Journal of Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence, Elsevier Journal of Physical Communication, and Elsevier Journal of Computer Communication. He is the secretary of the IEEE Consumer Technology Society on Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and AI. Moreover, he was chair of the 5G and Beyond Communications Session at the 2022 IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC). Additionally, he serves as a reviewer for almost all top journals and is a member of several conferences as well. In the worldwide community, he is a senior member of the IEEE and a member of the ACM.
Oh-Jin Kwon received an M.S. degree from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA, USA, in 1991, and a Ph.D. degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, MA, USA, in 1994, both in electrical engineering. He was a researcher at the Agency for Defense Development of Korea from 1984 to 1989 and the Head of the Media Lab at Samsung SDS Company, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, from 1995 to 1999. Since 1999, he has been a faculty member at Sejong University, Seoul, where he is currently a professor. His research interests include image and video fusion, coding, watermarking, analyzing, and processing.
