Prof. Dr. Yooseob Song is an Assistant Professor in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department. Before joining the University of Alabama in Huntsville, he worked as a tenure-track assistant professor at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley for three years. He obtained a bachelor's and a master’s degree from Hanyang University, Seoul, Republic of Korea, and a doctoral degree from Louisiana State University. He has several years of industry experience as a professional structural engineer at TESO Engineering Co., Ltd. He is also a registered Professional Engineer (PE). His research interests include metals, high-entropy alloys, solid mechanics, strain gradient plasticity, dynamic strain aging, finite element methods, and piezoelectric energy harvesting.
Prof. Dr. Julian Kang is an Associate Professor of Construction Science, at the School of Architecture at Texas A&M University. He received his PhD in Civil Engineering here in 2000. In 1987, he obtained his MS in Civil Engineering at Yonsei University. His research interests include construction methods and materials, soils in construction, advanced construction project schedules and management, and construction management communication.
Prof. Dr. Jaeheum Yeon is the Head of the Regional Infrastructure Engineering Department and an Associate Professor at the Department of Regional Infrastructure Engineering, Kangwon National University. He obtained his PhD in Construction Management and MS in Construction Engineering and Management at the Department of Architecture and Department of Civil Engineering, Texas A&M University. His research interests include Smart Construction, Digital Twin Infrastructure using IoT, Resilient Cementitious Mixtures for 3D Additive Construction, Rapid Concrete Pavement Rehabilitation using Emerging Technologies, Immersive Virtual Environments for Building Information Models, 4D Construction Visualization, Parametric Building Information Modeling, and Computational Structural Mechanics for Structural Durability.
