Dr. Yuzhuo Wang is a professor in the Department of Urologic Sciences at the University of British Columbia. He obtained both his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees at Nankai University and completed his PhD studies in prostatic carcinogenesis at the University of Hong Kong. He received postdoctoral training under Dr. Gerald R. Cunha at the University of California, San Francisco. Since 2018, he has been a fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences. He has recently led numerous projects in the field of prostate cancer. Dr. Wang has authored over 225 papers in various journals, holds an H-index of 83, and serves as the Associate Editor-in-Chief for Holistic Integrative Oncology as well as Principal Investigator for multiple CIHR-funded projects. His research interests encompass tumor dormancy, the discovery of therapeutic targets, and the development of therapeutics.
