Prof. Dr. Yuqiang Yang received a Master’s degree in
optics and a Doctor’s degree in physical electronics from Harbin Institute of
Technology in 2004 and 2009, respectively. He was previously a visiting fellow
at Nanyang Technological University’s Optical Fiber Technology Centre. Since
2020, he has been a professor at the School of Electronic and Information
Engineering, at Guangdong Ocean University. He is a member of IEEE, OSA
Society, and Electronics Society. He is mainly engaged in optical sensing and
detection technology research and has in-depth research in the fields of micro
and nanophotonic device preparation, interference sensor modulation and
demodulation, and optical trace component detection technology.
Prof. Dr. Peng Liu received a Ph.D. degree in marine
science from Kobe University, Kobe, Japan, in 2015. From 2015 to 2017, he
studied as a postdoctoral fellow at the School of Navigation, Dalian Maritime
University. He is currently an Associate Professor at Navigation College,
Dalian Maritime University, Dalian, China. In 2017, he won the first prize in
the Science and Technology Award of the China Navigation Society. His research
interests include image processing, data mining, and pattern recognition.
