Prof. Jianguo Chen is the deputy director of the Institute of Mathematical Geology and Remote Sensing Geology (China University of Geosciences). He is also the executive deputy director of
the Key Laboratory of Quantitative Resource Evaluation and Information Engineering of the Ministry of Land and Resources, a member of the International Society of Mathematical Geology, the deputy director and secretary-general of the Mathematical Geology and Geoinformation Professional Committee, and an editorial board member of the “Journal of Geology”. He developed the software of Metal Mineral Resources Evaluation and Analysis System Software (MORPAS) based on MAPGIS. He has won two first prizes and two second prizes for provincial and ministerial-level scientific and technological progress awards. His interests include Resource Quantitative Forecasting, Geostatistics, Applied Geophysics, Geoscience Big Data Analysis, Mathematical Geology, and Remote Sensing Geology.
