Dr. Leilei Ji is a research assistant at the National Research Center of Pumps, Jiangsu University, China. He obtained his PhD in Engineering in Fluid Machinery from Jiangsu University in 2021. He was a visiting scholar in Professor Ramesh Agarwal’s group at the Department of Mechanical Engineering & Materials Science, Washington University in St. Louis from 2019 to 2020. His research interests include fluid machinery design and optimization, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), cavitation of the pump, rotating stall of the mixed-flow pump, transient characteristics during the startup period, and PIV measurement.                                                                                         Prof. Dr. Wei Li is a professor at the National Research Center of Pumps, Jiangsu University, China. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree at Jiangsu University in 2003 and 2005, respectively. He completed his PhD studies in Engineering in Fluid Machinery at Jiangsu University in 2012 and worked there since 2006. He was a visiting scholar in Professor Ramesh Agarwal’s group at the Department of Mechanical Engineering & Materials Science, Washington University in St. Louis from 2017 to 2018. He is currently the deputy director of the National Research Center of Pumps of China and the director of the Key Laboratory in Energy Saving Technology of Pump and System of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry. In 2016 he served as Vice-Secretary of the Drainage and Irrigation Equipment Division of the Chinese Society for Agricultural Machinery, he served as Secretary-General of the Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics Discipline Union of Universities in Jiangsu Province in 2019, and in 2020, he served as vice-President of China National Evaluation Measurement Test Alliance of Flow Meter. His research interests include the design and optimization of fluid machinery, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), cavitation of pump, unsteady flow and control, and flow measurements and experimental techniques. He has published more than 150 papers, held 35 patents, wrote 1 technical book, and participated in 2 books in compilation and translation. 
                                                    
                     
                                    
                                    
                        
                        
                                                                                        Prof. Dr. Weidong Shi is the Vice Chairman of Zhenjiang CPPCC of Jiangsu Province, the Chairman of Jiu San Society Zhenjiang Municipal Committee, and the Vice President and Dean of the Graduate School of Jiangsu University. He is also the President of Nantong University. He graduated from the Jiangsu Institute of Technology and completed his PhD studies at Jiangsu University. He is mainly engaged in teaching, research, testing, testing, new product design and development of fluid machinery and engineering, chemical process machinery, etc. 
                                                    
                     
                                    
                        
                        
                                                                                        Prof. Dr. Ling Zhou is an Associate Professor at the Research Center of Fluid Machinery Engineering and Technology at Jiangsu University. He received his Bachelor’s degree at North China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower in 2008 and his Master’s degree at Jiangsu University in 2011. He completed his PhD studies at the same university in 2014. From March 2018 to March 2019, he went to Washington University in St. Louis as a visiting scholar. His fields of research include high-efficiency, high-lift submersible oil/submersible pump numerical simulation, optimization design and hydraulic model development; experimental measurement and control methods of pressure pulsation and axial force of multi-stage pumps; two-phase flow and abrasion and wear of fluid machinery. 
                                                    
                     
                                    
                                    
                        
                        
                                                                                        Dr. Yang Yang is a lecturer at the College of Hydraulic Science and Engineering at Yangzhou University. He received his Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD degrees at Jiangsu University in 2013, 2017, and 2021, respectively. From November 2019 to November 2020, he was a joint PhD. student at Texas Tech University. His research interests include hydraulic models, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), electric submersible pumps (ESP), unstable flow, pressure pulsation, and energy characteristics.
