Dr. Ndivhuwo Ndou is the Director of the School of Engineering, an Associate Professor, and the
Chair of the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of South Africa. He obtained his master’s degree in industrial engineering and PhD in mechanical engineering from the University of Johannesburg. Currently, he is responsible for overseeing the Industrial Engineering program in the department and actively supervises and co-supervises several postgraduate students. Dr. Ndou has published articles in various journals, including Materials Science and Engineering, and presented a paper at the World Congress on Engineering and Computer Science. His research interests include advanced manufacturing, material characterization, laser cladding, supply chain management, lean service and lean manufacturing, and productivity optimization.
