Jiseok-Yun received his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Hanyang University in 2022 and is currently obtaining a Ph.D. in geotechnical engineering from Hanyang University. He worked the position of teaching assistant (2022-2024) in classes in soil mechanics, tunnel engineering, and road engineering. His research topics mainly include the following: Tunnels, Ground Settlement, Numerical Analysis, Ground Behavior, and TBM.
Han-kyu Yoo is currently a professor at Hanyang University's Department of Construction and Environmental Engineering, and he earned his Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh in the United States with a degree in geotechnical engineering. He served as the president of the Korean Tunnel Geospatial Association and vice president of the Korean Civil Society. He recently led the development of the pre-cutting method, developing visualizations for tunnel excavation. His interests include the following: Tunnels, Settlement, Linear Cutting Test, and TBM.
