Manuel R. Arahal received the master’s degree and Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Seville, Seville, Spain, in 1991 and 1996, respectively. Since 1992, he has been with the Ingeniería de Sistemas y Automática Department, University of Seville. He is currently a Full Professor with the Ingeniería de Sistemas y Automática Department, University of Seville. His research interests include control of electrical systems and power plants.
