Prof. Dr. Roberto Benato is an electrical engineer who graduated from the University of Padua in 1995 where he then continued his research as part of his PhD. Since 2010, he has been an associate professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Padua. His research interests are mainly focused on asymmetric multiconductor systems and more generally in the field of transmission (high and very high voltage) and distribution (medium and low voltage) of electrical energy. He also deals with distributed generation and stationary electricity storage.
