Dr. Walid Oueslati is an Associate Professor at the Physics Department, Faculty of Sciences of Bizerte, University of Carthage, Tunisia. He completed his Ph.D. and 'Habilitation universitaire' studies in Condensed Matter Physics and Materials Science at the University of Carthage. Dr. Oueslati has recently led projects focusing on the synthesis and characterization of hybrid materials and the application of clay minerals in geotechnical and geological barriers for radioactive waste confinement. He has published numerous papers in various journals and serves as an associate editor and reviewer for several prestigious scientific journals, professional societies, and research projects. His teaching disciplines include experimental physics and mineralogy, and his interests encompass crystallography, solid-state physics, and sustainable materials.
